Note: For inside mount, please order a shade that is smaller than the width of your window so that it fits inside your window or does not rub against the sides. It should be at least 1/4 of an inch smaller to ensure a proper fit. Not for outdoor use, it will mold in high humidity environment. Each shade comes with a Retro-fit kit recommended by the CPSC. I purchased both the Indian Ginger Bamboo Roman Shades and the Bali Bamboo Roman Shades.Bali Natural Bamboo Roman Shade, Widths from 20in. to 35 in. and Length 54in.- Free Shipping, 29x54. The Indian Ginger Shades have small bamboo cylander strips which are all the same size. As shades they do not fully block out the outside light because there is space between the strips. It is possible to see outline when looking out of the shades. Unless a person is right at the window it is not possible to see in. This works well for me because I am on the fifth floor.
I bought one shade to see check the quality especially because the price was so reasonable. The quality is quite good. The shades have a dark honey tone to them which accents the new wood windows I just had installed. The shades create a warm environment in the room. They even have a nice natural bamboo aroma.
Top blinds shipped the shades and they arrived in just a few days. The free shipping is a real bonus. I highly recommend these blinds as an inexpensive upgrade. I am well pleased with these shades.
